Josh McFadden - About The Artist

About the Artist

Josh McFadden is originally from Malvern, Pennsylvania a nearby suburb of Philadelphia. From a very young age Josh exhibited a passion for the Arts. His mother and father, Joan and Ed, his siblings, Ashley and Brendan and his friends, have been a constant support and inspiration in his artistic endeavors.
	Josh is an outdoors enthusiast. Some of his favorite hobbies include Surfing, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, and Kayaking. Josh is devoted to the conservation and protection of wildlife and the environment. He strives to reflect these ideals in his artwork and lifestyle.
Josh grew up in the Philadelphia underground music scene and it greatly shaped the person that he is today. Music is an essential part of his life and some of his favorite music includes Punk, Ska, and Reggae. The thriving subculture of Philly is where Josh first became interested and later involved with Graffiti writing.
	Josh relocated to Charleston, South Carolina in the summer of 2006. He is currently a senior at the College of Charleston where he is the Captain of the Swimming and Diving team. He will graduate in the Spring of 2010 with a degree in Political Science and minors in Environmental Studies and Studio Art. When Josh isn't making artwork you can find him working as a lifeguard on Folly Beach. "My goal is to create affordable, functional, and unique artwork. I hope you enjoy." ~Sueño~
